MACHINERY
The term ‘Machinery’ could encompass a wide variety of surfaces, but generally
intended to imply metal, usually steel. Machinery is likely to be contaminated by
oils and grease and extra care is needed to obtain a clean surface.
Surface preparation:
Remove all loosely attached and flaked coatings back to a firm surface. Remove
heavy accumulations of oil and grease with T-6 or water rinse able degreasing
fluid. Remove residues of contamination and dirt by washing with a solution of
detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to dry.
Remove rust from all bare metal and abrade with emery cloth to a bright metal.
Painting:
A.
1 coat Anti Corrosive Red Oxide Primer
2 coats Berger Industrial Enamel
B.
1 coat Jensolin Red oxide/ Red Lead Primer/ Zinc
                                                 Phosphate Primer                               
2 coats Jensolin Synthetic Enamel
C.
Machineries in aggressive chemical atmosphere should
be painted either with Chlororubber based or Epoxy
based Industrial paints.

MURALS
The adornment of walls or ceilings with painted decoration in the form of a
picture. It becomes an integral part of the building in contrast to an easel
painting or other moveable painting. Murals can be applied to any kind of paint
able surface inside or outside. Normally the surface would be primed and
ground coated, unless previously painted and in suitable condition.
Painting:
Any conventional coating – oil or water based, depending on the                     
                                     type Of substrate.
