Berger Accolades the Talent of the Students of Architecture, BUET |

| Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited (BPBL) recently hosted the award-giving ceremony of the Berger Award Programme for the Students of Architecture, BUET (BASAB), in collaboration with the Department of Architecture, BUET.
The event took place at the BUET Auditorium, on May 8, 2008. Prof. Dr. A.M.M. Safiullah, Vice-Chancellor, BUET was present as chief guest and Managing Director of BPBL Rupali Chowdhury graced the occasion as special guest.
As part of its corporate social responsibility, Berger introduced this Programme in 2006 to promote the young architects, give them a real life experience and inspire them to go further. In this programme a total of 56 projects were submitted. Among them 8 projects were nominated for the award in four categories.

National Award 2006 as one of the best for Pubished Accounts and Reports in the Manufacturing Category. Managing Director
of Berger Paints Masih Ul Karim received the award on behalf of the company on December 08, 2007 from Dr. AB Mirza Md. Azizul Islam,
Hon'ble Adviser, Govt. of Bangladesh at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel.

Berger Paints BD Ltd. recently hosted the prize-giving ceremony of the Berger Award for Excellence in Architecture, in collaboration
with the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB). The event took place in Radisson Water Garden Hotel Dhaka, on October 29, 2007.
Masih Ul Karim, Managing Director of Berger Paints BD Ltd., inagurated the ceremony and said in his speech "Architecture is not just about
making buildings; it is indeed part of the very fabric of our society, of civilization itself."
As part of its corporate social responsibility, Berger introduced the Young Architects' Award back in 2003, the first of its kind in Bangladesh.
To widen the horizon, this year the award was classified into two categories, namely the Berger Award for Excellence in Architecture and the Berger young
Architects' Award. |

12th Berger Young Painters' Art Competition |

Enlightened with the pride of youth, "Berger Young Painters' Art Competition" (BYPAC) stepped into a new decade. The 12th BYPAC prize
giving ceremony was held on 29th November, 2007 at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center. The presence of the artists, both
young and old, made the occasion grand.
